The standard office desk clocks in at 29 to 30 inches, and that height may cause you great discomfort if you regularly use your computer. Other desks may have wire storage areas or channels that do essentially the same thing, just in a different way. Regardless, a wire-management system of some sort is almost a necessity with today’s office equipment. Check to make sure you can organize your wires on the desk of your choice before committing!
Also consider how computer wiring is managed. Some computer desks are equipped with wiring holes. These allow wires to be dropped through the work surface so they do not hang over the edge of the desk.
