Pay for assembly.  If you can find a chair vendor that will assemble the chairs upon delivery, you may want to pay a bit more for their services. 

Many chairs are packaged as “ready to assemble,” but if directions aren’t your strong suit, or if you don’t have a chest full of tools at your disposal, you could end up with an incorrectly or partially assembled office chair.  (And neither is very useful to anyone!)  Whereas, if you have a professional assemble the chairs, there is very little risk of incorrect or incomplete assembly—and you can begin to use them as soon as you get them delivered. 

You may pay a little extra, but in my opinion peace of mind is priceless!
